Over the course of the last couple years I have experienced a significant amount of change. I left the state I have known my whole life, and moved miles away from college, then came back. I graduated from undergrad and joined the workforce, then went back as a graduate student. I have made new friends, fell out of touch with old ones, explored new passions and grown tired of old hobbies. Throughout all of these changes, some things have stayed constant. I thought blogging about all these things and giving my perspective on them would help me process everything as well as shed some light into the life of a guy in his twenties.

Here is the main section of my blog, and essentially I will give my thoughts and perspective on parts of life. I am a scientist, a christian and a dancer. Some people don’t see those things as compatible, but I love having parts of myself be different. I’m also a young black man living in the United States of America. There are many ways that this shapes my worldview. I look to share some parts of me and my world.

I’m a millennial. I feel like it is a common trend among me and many other millennials to keep a blog. We, as a group, are examined to the highest degree by a variety of individuals and companies to predict how we will act. There are countless articles declaring that millennials have many bad character traits, the most popular complaint is that we are lazy and entitled. Obviously I am a little biased, but I don’t see us that way. The millennials that I know are some of the most humble and hardworking people that I know. So for this section of my blog, I am going to feature profiles of some amazing millennials to help to change our narrative.
